Nha Trang Human Chess Festival

Nha Trang Human Chess Festival is held annually on the occasion of Lunar New Year, from the 3rd to the 5th day of Tet, is a special cultural event, attracting a large number of locals and tourists. This is a unique folk game, in which "living chess pieces" are controlled by humans, moving according to traditional chess steps. The competition is not only an opportunity to compete in intelligence but also an opportunity to promote Nha Trang culture, creating a joyful atmosphere in the first days of spring.

Am Chua is a famous spiritual site in Dien Khanh district, Khanh Hoa province, where the Holy Mother Thien Y A Na, an important deity in Vietnamese folk beliefs, is worshiped. Am Chua festival usually takes place from the 1st to the 3rd day of the 3rd lunar month with traditional rituals such as: Traditional sacrifice ceremony; Incense offering ceremony and music and dance performances by pilgrimage groups inside and outside the province.
